Our Journey
The business began when CEO Aran was nearing the end of his 3 year degree apprenticeship programme. Joining forces with Co-Founder and colleague Morgan and through a Degree Apprentice network, Aran & Morgan added Kushal to the team, a perfect trio for the beginnings of PlanetEco. Together, we want to build a platform to educate and help the nation to reduce environmental impact and save money!
Our goal is for PlanetEco to be the go-to platform for everything eco: education, comparison, shopping, consulting, you name it! We want to have the biggest impact on the planet and the people that live on it. It is incredibly important to us that we continue to focus on education and that is why we want to expand our offering to provide the latest and most in depth educational content available.
Aran Hammond
CEO
Aran is a co-founder and CEO of PlanetEco. Born and raised in the East Midlands, he has always had a passion for both business and the environment. Having moved to High Wycombe as part of his Degree Apprenticeship with Hovis Ltd, Aran met fellow Co-Founder Morgan Taylor where ideation on various startups began. Outside of PlanetEco, Aran works in sales at a global legal technology company. In his spare time, Aran plays and coaches cricket and enjoys the outdoors.

CTO
Kushal is a co-founder and CTO of PlanetEco. Being part of a Young Entrepreneurs competition at school whilst simultaneously learning how to code made him strive to found his own technology-based business. At university, he built on this ambition through being President of “Startup Society”. PlanetEco is the culmination of Kushal’s passion to use technology to solve high-impact problems and technology expertise.
Morgan Taylor
CMO
Morgan is a co-founder and CMO of PlanetEco. Growing up in the South East, he developed an excitement for marketing and building a brand. During his time as a degree apprentice, he enjoyed working within the EHS industry growing a passion for sustainability and looking after the environment. Following Aran’s creation, he joined PlanetEco, excited to use his prior experience to follow his passion and have a positive impact on the planet.

PlanetEco is nothing without its members. All of the business’ that are listed on our site provide an invaluable service to homeowners looking to improve their homes in a green way. We are heavily invested in prioritising a partnership where each member is bought into the PlanetEco vision of providing high-quality Eco services to UK homeowners.
We strive to do this through providing maximal value on membership fees, connecting members with users that are actively looking to improve their homes and ensuring that we listen to all recommendations, issues and lessons learned to continuously improve PlanetEco.

We started PlanetEco to create a community of like-minded homeowners who want to limit their impact on the environment. Our team is made up of people who match that description and have only joined the team through their passion for sustainability. We have and will continue to provide maximum value to all of our users, creating a space to develop a world where all can take responsibility for their environmental impact through learning.
